Nonprofit Partnership Model
Approved nonprofit partners can nominate or guide individuals through the service inquires below if they are:
● Substantially engaged with your organization and in good standing
● Demonstrating significant resourcefulness, resiliency, and momentum towards their goals
● Able to provide verifiable employment/income for managing auto-related expenses
A completed inquiry does NOT guarantee service availability. We are a volunteer-run organization dependent on donations and market conditions. Our funding fluctuates and we do not hold a readily available inventory. If a rapid response is required, these services may not be a fit.
No-Cost Diagnostic
Generous Jalopy can coordinate a no-cost diagnostic with our trusted mechanical partners for current vehicle owners to gain clarity on any mechanical or maintenance issues and recommended repairs. Depending on the nature and extent of work, repair prioritization, immediate discounts, matches, and budgeting suggestions may be available.

Affordable Vehicles
Generous Jalopy can obtain vehicles for under or low-market value. We recommend vehicles that are known to be more reliable given buyer needs. Our trusted mechanical partners complete safety inspections and necessary repairs before delivery. For funding needs, we suggest: Microlending, Work'n Wheels, Job Access, or local credit unions.

Car Giftings
When Generous Jalopy receives a vehicle (typically compact cars) on donation, our trusted mechanical partners complete a safety inspection to determine the vehicle's condition. Depending on the nature and extent of work, Generous Jalopy determines if the vehicle is a good candidate for gifting after necessary repairs and maintenance items are complete.
