Inspired + 501c3 Official
Friends + Family,
Last fall, a Madison area mom of three young girls was homeless when she engaged one of our nonprofit partners to achieve her two goals: secure housing and increase her network of connections.
With these foundational elements in place, she continued to set goals over the following months and connect with her circle of support, obtaining employment and behind-the-wheel driving experience. Just this week, she attained her driver’s license!
In the face of adversity and isolation, this young woman was willing to seek connection, action her goals, and embody the resilience we all need to weather the storms of life. How inspiring! It has us wondering–
What if Generous Jalopy could gain a donated vehicle and gift it to this young woman at this critical moment in her life?
It is now possible, and what better way to let you know we are officially a 501(c)(3)! If you or anyone you know is able to donate a vehicle or make a one time gift to support the first vehicle gifting, you can now write this off on your taxes.
As we near the finish line on gaining an auto dealer license, please continue to pray the last step – a site visit with the DoT – goes through without a hitch.
Grace + Peace,
Rachel + Heath
